IBEJU-LEKKI COUNCIL CHAIRMAN STRENGTHENS TIES WITH FORWARD OPERATING BASE
The Executive Chairman of Ibeju-Lekki Local Government, Hon. Abdullahi Sesan Olowa, has welcomed a visit from the Forward Operating Base, led by Commander Bukata Clement Bulus, as part of efforts to bridge the gap between the military and local communities. According to the Media Office of the Executive Chairman, the meeting aimed to strengthen civil-military relations and build public trust.
During the visit, Hon. Olowa expressed his administration’s commitment to collaboration, highlighting past successful relationships with security agencies. “Security is a joint effort,” he emphasized, leaving his door open for advice and guidance. Commander Bulus thanked the chairman for the warm reception, affirming the base’s commitment to supporting the local government and its citizens. An award plaque was also presented to Hon. Olowa by Commander Bulus, recognizing his efforts in promoting community development.
