HON. (BARR.) ROSIJI PARTICIPATES IN LAGOS LEADERSHIP SUMMIT TO ADVANCE GRASSROOTS DEVELOPMENT
The Executive Chairman of Ojokoro LCDA, Hon. (Barr.) Oluyemisi Adenike Rosiji, has joined her counterparts across Lagos State at a high-level Leadership Summit organized by the Lagos State House of Assembly.
The summit, held at Lateef Jakande Auditorium within the Lagos House Assembly Complex , Alausa, Ikeja, focused on the theme: “Capacity Building and Orientation for Effective Local Governance.” It aimed at strengthening the capacity of council chairmen to deliver people-centered governance and drive sustainable development at the grassroots level.
Featuring engaging sessions on leadership development, financial accountability, and citizen engagement, the summit provided council leaders with the tools to enhance service delivery and foster community trust.
Hon. Rosiji, a distinguished legal practitioner and experienced administrator, described the summit as a timely platform for refining leadership skills and aligning local government initiatives with the needs of the people."This summit offers invaluable insights that will help us serve our communities better. For Ojokoro LCDA, it is an opportunity to further improve infrastructure, healthcare, education, and social welfare,” she noted.
With the knowledge gained, Hon. Rosiji is poised to implement innovative strategies that prioritize transparency, accountability, and inclusivity—hallmarks of her administration’s vision for Ojokoro.
The summit also served as a forum for council chairmen to exchange ideas and share best practices aimed at making grassroots governance more effective across Lagos State. Hon.
