COMMUNITY SAFETY TAKES CENTER STAGE AS AYOBO-IPAJA LCDA CHAIRMAN MEETS WITH LNSC OFFICERS
The Executive Chairman of Ayobo-Ipaja Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Lagos, Hon. Agbaje Lukmon Abiodun, has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to community safety and security. This was buttressed during a courtesy visit from officers of the Lagos Neighborhood Safety Corps (LNSC), led by CS Aihonsu Isaiah Adebowale, Corps Superintendent of the Ayobo-Ipaja Command.
The engagement, which centered on strengthening the partnership between the LCDA and the LNSC, highlighted the importance of collaborative council collaboration. Hon. Agbaje commended the corps for their tireless commitment to providing intelligence and support to other security agencies, which has been vital to maintaining peace across the LCDA.
A key issue raised during the meeting was the persistent power outage at the LNSC station, a challenge inherited from the previous administration. Hon. Agbaje assured the officers of his administration’s commitment to addressing the problem and restoring essential facilities that will enable them to perform their duties more effectively.
The Chairman emphasized that community safety is one of his administration’s top priorities, stressing that closer collaboration with the LNSC will further guarantee the security and well-being of residents in Ayobo-Ipaja LCDA. “Together, we can achieve more,” Hon. Agbaje concluded, expressing confidence in a stronger partnership with the LNSC in safeguarding lives and fostering progress across the LCDA.
